A city full of life, Barcelona is a prime example of a Modern city. With night clubs and bars closing at 9 o’clock in the morning, Barcelona just might give New York City a run for its money with the title of “The City That Never Sleeps.”
Home of many famous buildings and monuments, Barcelona’s different architectural styles exhibit the history behind the cherished city. Barcelona never fails to find a place in everyone’s heart.
This was my third time in Barcelona and the first time that I have visited the Palau de la Musica Catalana. A concert hall that caters to many different styles of musicians, the Palau de la Música Catalana is a perfect example of open-mindedness.
One of my favorite things in the whole world… food. The markets in Barcelona not only have delicious food everywhere you look, but they also have tables of gummy candy. Finding the table with all of the gummies was like finding the presents that Santa has left on Christmas morning.
Below are some of the sites you can find in Barcelona. With Park Guell and Casa Batllo, Antoni Gaudi touched Barcelona with his
unique artistic ability.
On the other hand, Sagrada Familia is Gaudi's unfinished masterpiece. This giant basilica is Barcelona's most popular tourist attraction. Construction on Sagrada Familia has been ongoing since 1882 and will continue for another 50 to 100 years. Every aspect, down to each individual brick, is handcrafted.
Cheers to returing in 50 plus years to see the finished masterpiece.
