I cannot express to you all how incredible it is to have 10 days to do whatever I want, whenever I want, wherever I want. Friday, March 15th began the 10-day Spring Break for the students at the Rome Campus. That means... Friday began Amanda's 10-Day Adventure.
I will be traveling in 3 different countries, to 3 major cities that I have never been to before. I am currently in Prague and will eventually make my way to Vienna and Budapest by train.
If you are anything like my mother, you will be questioning who I am going with. The next 10 days I am traveling alone and using this time to reflect and grow into an even better person. Of course, I did my research on each of the cities and am more than ready to dive into each one of them.
My Motto: Me. Myself and My Camera.
I have only been in Prague for 2 and a half days and I can modestly say I have mastered the land. With a simple metro system and incredible sites, I can dance my way around the city with ease!
Before deciding what destinations I was going to travel to during my time off, I asked around to see what others thought of Prague. Most common word used: Magical.
In addition to the real life people that describe Prague as "magical," the majority of websites and travel books that I referenced during my planning also used that exact word. Magical.
To be fair, Prague is indeed magical. But I feel that the word "magical" does not do Prague justice.
Intoxicating. Bewitching.
Those are words that I would use to describe Prague.
Here is a sneak peak of what I will be posting over the next seven days.
